DELAYED OPENINGS.......There may be days this year when, rather than
closing school because of inclement weather, the Superintendent of
Schools will choose to have a delayed opening. The time that the
buses run will be determined by the length of the delay. For
instance, if the delay is for two hours, the buses will run and school
will begin two hours later that usual. School will still end at
the usual time. If the inclement weather continues throughout the
morning the Superintendent may cancel school, so please listen to the
radio or look for the closing on tv. Radio stations to listen to
include: WEZF 92.9 FM, WLFE 102.3 FM, WWSR 1420 AM, WIZN 106.7
“FM, WOKO 98.5 FM. TV stations WPTZ Channel 3 & 5
run a banner on the bottom of the screen throughout morning.
Also we will use our “Alert Now” (automated message system)
to notify families about upcoming events,
school closings, delays, etc.
